Senior Manager of Product Engineering:

A leading organization operating at the intersection of intelligence, technology, and human expertise is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Engineering to lead technology initiatives within its Legal business domain.

The Role:

This role will lead the Product Engineering function, translating strategic business objectives into scalable, secure, and modern technology platforms.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong people leadership, with a strong emphasis on Generative AI, cloud architecture, and modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership

• Lead the Product Engineering team, aligning technical execution with business priorities.
• Translate complex business requirements into modern, secure, and efficient technical solutions.

Architecture & Engineering Excellence:

• Design and implement cloud‑native, low‑coupling architectures.
• Establish and evolve SRE practices, including monitoring, incident management, and capacity planning.
• Ensure strong governance across security, compliance, and FinOps.
• Drive the adoption of Generative AI across the full software development lifecycle.

AI Strategy & Product Partnership:

• Partner closely with Product and Business leaders to shape and execute the technology and AI roadmap.
• Ensure solutions deliver customer value, scalability, and sustainable business growth.

Prompt Engineering & AI Evaluation

• Promote experimentation and innovation with Generative AI, including prompt engineering and evaluation practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, and open communication.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Ensure excellence in delivery through:

1. Continuous Testing and Continuous Integration;
2. Trunk‑Based Development;
3. Progressive delivery;
4. Visual management and WIP control;

• Balance speed, quality, and operational efficiency.

Security, Reliability & Compliance:

• Implement continuous security management across code and infrastructure.
• Ensure critical vulnerabilities are remediated within one week in at least 90% of cases.
• Maintain operational SLAs, including 99.95% platform availability.

Innovation & Transformation:

• Lead POCs and innovation initiatives, anticipating emerging technologies and legal market needs.
• Champion cultural change that enables experimentation, innovation, and long‑term strategic vision.

Requeriments:

• Proven experience in senior technical leadership, with hands‑on expertise in cloud architecture, Generative AI, and software engineering.

• Strong background in modern engineering and operations practices, including:

1. SRE;
2. FinOps;
3. CI/CD;
4. Observability and monitoring;
5. Security engineering;

• Advanced English for global collaboration and technical communication.

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performance teams, fostering:
