Descrição:

This role will perform monthly Statistical Demand Forecasting / Demand & Supply Planning Brazil. The role is to develop and maintain accurate customer demand forecasts using statistical models / tools that are driven by information gathered from commercial, finance and other sources, chair their respective Demand Review Meetings, define and track strategic inventory norms, and support weekly critical product review meetings whilst tracking daily stock availability in the markets. This position will provide the data to drive our monthly business financial reporting (MIS), S&OP cycle, inventory strategy for Finished Goods and product supply frequency to improve our cash flow while still improving our costs, service and reliability. This role will also be the main escalation point of contact for the local Brazilian warehouse provider, ensuring activities are completed as per the agreed KPIs. Therefore, cost evaluation (cost to serve) and potential sourcing of new and/or additional warehouse/ logistic providers is included in the scope of this role.


Develop and maintain demand forecasting plans / models that includes commercial, finance and other sources.

  • Provide an accurate volume and value demand plan for the 0 to 24 month horizon based on; Statistical base demand; Sales / Marketing Intelligence ;Promotions; Tenders ; NPI Launches etc;
  • Support of the overall planning cycle performing activities such as: Generating Net Requirements; Batch Clubbing; Replenishment Phasing;Inventory Norms and Inventory Ownership; Forecast Sufficiency for their markets;
  • Develop and maintain both internal & external relationships to perform collaborative forecasting;
  • Improvements on the following Business Metrics; Forecast Accuracy & Bias; Inventory levels (Value & Availability); Service levels (OTIF); Cash Flow;



Contribute and participate in the monthly Pre-S&OP (Demand-Supply Review) and/or S&OP cycle

  • Lead the Demand Review Process for their Markets;
  • Implement and maintain demand sensing techniques & processes to ensure timely adjustment to supply based on latest business intelligence and actual demand trends;
  • Provide accurate forecasts / Demand Plans and information to the S&OP and MIS forums to allow good business decisions to be made in order to deliver the overall business goals;



Contribute and participate in the Weekly Critical Products Meetings

  • Support in generating critical stock files to monitor and monitor inventory availability and criticalities for all markets across Europe;
  • Provide a market update to the Operations and Supply Planning team of Critical Products required in the market;
  • Review and Maintain good health Inventory levels in the markets in line with Glenmark Planning Policies & Business Principles to deliver Monthly, Quarterly Inventory targets ;
  • Support problem solving to mitigate / avoid stock outs and sales loss;
  • Identify, understand and update on key supply constraints, lead times and capability at in-house and external partners for their product portfolio / markets;
  • Manage local repacking activities at IH production sites or local 3P vendors: purchasing of packaging materials, plan repacking, discuss on repacking costs etc;



Supply Chain Tasks

  • Key contact to service providers for warehousing and distribution, and transportation agencies;
  • Manage 3P/4P relationships whilst monitoring key servicing KPIs;
  • SAP Key User for MM Module;
  • Selection of sea or air shipment mode from India sites;
  • Manage import shipments ensuring timely clearance & delivery of goods to the local warehouses;



Local Launch Coordination

  • Participate at regular local launch Meeting;
  • Project manage new product introductions: finalize new product volumes and timelines. Liaise with Global Launch Team, manufacturing, Business Development team and 3rd Party Suppliers to generate feasibility study for the launch;
  • Oversee the various project steps until launch and act as a lynchpin to ensure the products are launched on time. Support the project management team in all supply chain related activities up to, and including launch of products;


Reporting;

  • Key Performing Indicators in Supply Chain & Demand Planning. Support on local reporting requirements (e.g. product availability reporting to local customer services, scrapping report) as well as global support (Forecast sufficiency etc.);

Outros requisitos:

Education (degree / diploma)

  • Bachelor’s degree;


Experience

  • 5 Years work experience in Demand forecasting / planning & Supply Chain function in Pharmaceutical (Preferably Generics) within the Brazilian market;
  • Significant experience in multitasking/ cross functional collaboration and matrix structured environments;


Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

  • Good knowledge and experience of using statistical algorithms, models, concepts, processes, systems and integration with SAP;
  • Good understanding of the E2E Supply chain and varying supply models;
  • Risk and Issue management and escalation;
  • Experience of working with organizations of similar size (Revenue/ Geographic breadth) and / or Product portfolio;
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, ERP and MRP systems;
  • Knowledge and understanding of E2E Supply Chain management and Manufacturing;
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written;
  • Experience with Process Improvement approaches (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, etc.) ideal;
  • High level of numeracy with the ability to manage, analyse and interpret complex data and identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights to aid in developing new forecasting models and improve existing models;
  • Effective negotiating and influencing skills;
  • Problem solving;
  • Financial awareness;
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • High degree of attention to detail;


Leadership / Managerial Attributes

  • Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams and achieving deliverables through collaborative means;
  • Ability to energise and lead & influence cross functional internal and external teams;


Other requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training)

  • APICS accreditation desirable;
  • SAP R3 / S4 / APO / Demantra etc;
  • Six Sigma Green belt desirable.
